Thanks for the link to the switch-stands, Martin. They may come in useful for what just may be a new project - but not for at least six months or so.

Nice video. I think on-screen the lights seem to accentuate the backscene sky colour. I've used warm white light which gives a rather yellow glow to photos, but looks better to the naked eye. I may have to experiment by adding some plain white LED strip to see if it corrects the colour, although it means another mains feed which I was hoping to avoid.

I am sure you're right Giles.

I took that video in a dark room and I don't think that helped (I only use a cheap compact camera too).. tried a couple of quick photos today and they look a lot better..

I think that looks most realistic Martin.
It has a nice rural atmosphere. I rather like pictures without a loco or stock in view.

Not had vast amounts of time as I've been pretty focussed on job hunting of late, and my toy soldiering takes up some time too - However, I bodged myself a camera stand thing and had a go at another video. I've been adding little bits here and there scenically to Brett, and generally fussing over and enjoying the layout. Very Happy
