Sheffield Model Railway Society present their annual Model Railway Exhibition. 15 layouts of various scales and gauges plus trade. Free parking on site and refreshments and bar are available.
My own 'Shifting Sands', a seaside miniature railway modelled in O9 (7mm scale/9mm gauge) is scheduled to appear.

Unashamed *bump*, the show is tomorrow and we're packed and ready to go!
This is a great show for the fan of smaller layouts, the venue and amount of set up/take down time they have almost dictates it.

got to the show. Nice small show. Nice lot of small layouts. Hopefully booked to do a 'workshop/display' next year.
The weather helped, as it was first time I had tried the Manchester/Sheffield route. Better than the M62, despite some small holdups and a badly marked diversion in Sheffield. _________________ Simon Dawson
Will try anything once, looking for the ultimate easy to set up portable exhibition layout, preferably French narrow gauge and with lots going on, not necessary on the rails.

Good to see you on Saturday Simon, glad you enjoyed the show. I think we shall be there again next year with one of my Dad's layouts, so hopefully will see you then!

Colin, I was talking to the exhibition manager, and I think I am booked in with a demo stand(there is a limit to the number of traders they are permitted to have). _________________ Simon Dawson
