This Saturday 6th January is our one day local model railway exhibition upstairs in the Hub at Accrington Market Hall.

Open from abput 10am to 4pm

FREE entry , donations to Rossendale and Pendle Mountain Rescue.

This is our second exhibition. Again concentrating on local layouts, a few more than last year.
If we can attract more people to join our club, 24A Model Railway Group, based in Rishton, then we might be able to have more exhibitions.

Will try anything once, looking for the ultimate easy to set up portable exhibition layout, preferably French narrow gauge and with lots going on, not necessary on the rails.

Good luck with the show, Simon. Perhaps some pictures, afterwards?

show went well. possibly not as many visitors as last year, but Acci Stanley were not playing in FA Cup. Last year we had a few Luton Town supported in. Round here you have to keep an eye on football fixtures!
It was only a local show with a few local layouts. Just trying to keep momentum going, when there are no other exhibitions up north(it used to be Preston first weekend of the year). Also trying to encourage town centres as good location for exhibitions.
Sorry no photos, but I am intending to be at another small exhibition in a couple of weeks, with something a bit different, so will take my camera.
