Got no room for a full sized model? Try low relief then. A low relief model, or even a complete scenic flat, can save valuable space on your layout. As demonstrated in the photograph below which was taken alongside the WCML in Crewe. The signalbox (Crewe North Sidings) could not be fitted in between the tracks and the Network Rail security fence so resorting to low relief solved the problem.

Nooooo!!!! It is real! Honest. As is the new camouflage lo-vis panel on the front of this Vermin Trains locomotive. Apparently it is part of an initiative to deal with trespassers by sneaking up on them unawares.
I've been wandering around the Railway Age in Crewe. It was the Calder Northern spring meet today and I thought I'd go and have a look at their new set up since they've moved to Crewe from Broadheath. _________________ Bob Hughes
