I have decided to sell Lyddlow, my O scale micro layout. The model is offered at £50 for layout only or £350 complete with two locos, five wagons and a selection of suitable road vehicles. More details can be seen on my website.

Available for collection from Sandbach or may be possible to arrange a meeting within reasonable travelling distance.

Bob, I looked in, wondering if Lyddow had been sold - too late! But it did give me a chance, via your links, to have a look at the start of your new creation in 10mm scale. Very interesting; looking forward to seeing that one develop. I did identify the Timpo coach (shame the matching locos aren't suitable for easy conversion), but what's the provenance of that steeple cab?

Hi Giles.

The body of the sparky is a renovation project, quite heftily scratch built from sheet steel, it was bought on Fleabay. Its chassis is from an O scale Plymouth. It's a long term project though because I think my planned US HO layout will get built first. Lyddlow was dispatched south on Friday evening so I now have outline planning permission for a new layout.

Bob
pleased to see you are trying 1/32 scale. Does this mean the next modular project will be this scale/gauge.
I am planning something similar with a french style railcar built from 2 bus bodies. I also aquired a large amount of Lima O gauge track which is currently for sale on eBay including points.
My project is on hold, while I concentrate on 1/12th scale, followed by 1/6th scale.
Don't just stick to 32mm gauge as 16.5 comres out at a very nice narrow gauge.
Check out military modelling kits, especially thr Miniart building kits which are excellent, although strictly speaking they are 1/35th scale.

Will try anything once, looking for the ultimate easy to set up portable exhibition layout, preferably French narrow gauge and with lots going on, not necesarily on the rails.

Giles. No, definitely not Fat A**e City! The HO scale project is to be renamed, CP Arundale. The CP will be taken as Control Point by US railroad fans but the name is in memory of my Dad who was headmaster at Arundale County Primary school (off John Kennedy Road, Hattersley) before taking early retirement some twenty odd years ago.

Simon. I suspect that the On30 and OO modules will keep CRM busy for some time. The On30's debut was very well received by the visitors at our 2010 show and the OO modules have had several outings since their debut at CRM 2009.
