The Wealden Railway Group's annual show is on March 6th, 2010; the venue is the Scout Hut, Canada Road, Arundel, West Sussex. This year, as well as a selection of layouts, the show features a competition to build a workable layout on a baseboard the size of three A4 sheets of paper. Also featured are Roy Hickman with his demonstration of scenic techniques, the Group's second-hand sales, and LSWR Models.

Full details including a map of the show's location are on the Group's website at www.wealden.weebly.com .

Here are some pictures from the show, starting with a sneak preview of the Stockton Tramway, which features in the next edition of MTI due out this week

I hope to post photos of other layouts on the WRG website at http://wealden.weebly.com

Brink Tramway will be at Telford on the 18th July, if Giles hasn't any shots of it I will take some next month and post them after the event.

Antonio

Thank you for your interest in my "Brink Valley Tramway" layout. The scale is "O9" (1:43.5 on 9mm track) and the model represents an 18" gauge English steam tramway in a rural setting with passenger, goods, and mineral traffic.

A five page article (with excellent photographs by Craig Tiley) on the layout is today published in the July 2010 issue of Railway Modeller, one off copies of which can be obtained via internet sales at Peco using the "Back Issues" section.

https://secure.mmc-online.co.uk/peco/sales/sales.htm

The layout is one of the exhibits that can be seen on Sunday 18 July 2010 at MOMING'10 (the "exhibition within an exhibition" at the Telford Narrow Gauge show - http://www.ngtrains.com/telfordng.htm).

Best wishes

Christopher Payne UK

Thanks, Christopher.
I'm searching for Railway Modeller: some copies arrive to italian newsagents.
I'm very curious of MOMING, but it's really impossibile to come from Italy!
I'm a fan of your St Pierre layout: very nice and inspiring.
Regards
Antonio
