Below are a few previously unpublished photos of Walmington Pier Tramway. The latest news on this unusual layout is that I am writing Letters of Instruction to my Will and agreed between myself and the Southend Pier Museum Foundation, that upon my death, Walmington Pier Tramway will be left for permanent display in the Southend Pier Museum.

I'm 53 this month, so it looks like another 15-20 years of exhibiting left!!!

Cheers,

Dave

Thanks for these extra pictures Dave. It is really good to see the layout in a hall setting, I hope I get to see it sometime.

Brilliant idea to link up with Southend Pier, though is it possible to take it there while you are still alive?

I would just my thanks to you for making such an innovative and pleasing model railway.

cheers

Ken

And they call me Blackcloud due to my cheerful outlook on life!

Aim for another 53 and get your money's worth out of the state pension. Very Happy
