Only just caught up with this one after a long absence. Really like the cold store, Jordan, and the story behind the various doors adds verisimilitude.

Thanks, Jack. You'll no doubt have noted the better view of the Greenbrier Midland boxcar.

Having taken this picture I have to admit you're right. They need replacing with wider, taller structures- probably means less silos, but they'd be more believable. Large plastic soil or drainpipe from B&Q/Wickes etc is a llikely candidate, but WHEN I get around to doing that... don't hold your breath.... |
Still under construction; but what do you think of these...?
This shows the old pringles tubes alongside...
And starting to look the part, with the Soo Hopper in front for size...

Really nice work Jordan. I remember seeing some of these driving across the northern USA and Canada and they are huge: those do look the part. _________________ Andy in Germany

Excellent work Jordan - a prairie cathederal if ever there was. Definitely looks like something the mighty Soo Line would serve.
You are also making a good case for O scale.
Thanks

Not sure what case that is; that you need a bit of space, perhaps...??? _________________ All it's got to have is flanged wheels... |
