Bump! It's this Saturday.

New items to be seen include a new FC Este station pilot plus some wagon loads so the company can start earning some money, which it will need immediately as the turntable at the terminus needs replacing. The work gang have started to remove the old one, but have stopped for a prolonged discussion of the best way to do the work. Meanwhile a steam train shuttle service will be operating as far as Paseo San Juan where the railcars from Arenal are having to end their runs, so as to use the turntable there at the loco roundhouse.

Had a good time at the show, despite the amended movement cards not making complete sense at times. The turntable's work gang got some favourable comments, but I got the paintwork on the gas cylinders a little wrong - the oxygen should have been black with a white top.

No pictures, though, as the camera and new computer are not talking to each other yet. Same goes for the scanner although the same kit works in print mode. Will I ever understand IT?

If your Camera has a USB port try just connecting to the computer with power on. This may also bring up to import from camera. If that doesn't get your software to work, try treating the camera as a flash drive, and see if you can copy files that way.

For the scanner from a progarm such as Paint there will be a an option in the File Menu (icon normally at top left or one down) to aquire from a scanner/camera. On some multifunction printer/scanners, the scanner is not available over the network and will only work with a direct USB connection. With the scanner on you should be prompted for driver software if necessary.

Hope this helps
Clive

Many thanks Clive. I managed to crack the secret of the new programme earlier today, and have uploaded the pictures from the camera. They are on the Project 2012 thread.
