I have been searching on the www but not exactly sure what to search for.. Confused

I'd like to be able to control the speed of a battery (2 x AA size) loco I have.

The unit needs to be fairly small and with a speed control knob easy to get to by hand.

I built a battery powered loco that I got from Houston Gate Loco Works web site - it has forward and reverse and runs at a fairly slow speed but ideal if I could control it better..

Any ideas?

Thanks
Roger

Have you considered Radio Control? There are some very small receivers available for indoor flying models and others. It may be worth enquiring at a specialiat R/C Model shop.

Houston Gate Loco Works have a section on R/C themselves.....maybe have a word with them?

If R/C can be made to work in OO9 for a small 4 wheel diesel, then there's plenty of room in a 32 or 45 mm gauge 4 wheel diesel.
