|I have started on the first of my 3D printed road vehicles.
First up is the French FAR post war 3 wheeler cab. FAR had the license to build a French version of the Scammell Mechanical Horse. Info on the FAR is difficult to find, but I located a drawing of the post war version. There were other versions, far more variations than the Scammell. The pre war MH version is virtually the same appearance as the British version. A different roof shape.
I have done a version of the FAR cab in various scales, HO,OO,1/55, and 1/32, as well as some others (still need to check ) . My website will be updated, but they are on my Shapeways e-shop(link from my website).
I plan to do some form of chassis, once I have compared the FAR with the Scammell.
I also plan a pre-war version and its Scammell equivalent. If I can find more drawings I will do other vehicles. The Scammell vehicles may be available in OO and N scales from Oxford, but other scales are very rare, and the big part of the work is in initial design, which can be resized .
Will try anything once, looking for the ultimate easy to set up portable exhibition layout, preferably French narrow gauge and with lots going on, not necessary on the rails.
