The latest East Anglian operater Abellio Greater Anglia (AGA) has been using a short set of 3 coaches. This was due to a shortage of DMU countrywide this is currently 3 Mk2 in DRS livery before this 2 AGA MK 3 & DVT. Operating one set with both DRS class 47 now class 37/4 on lines off Norwich to Gt Yarmouth & Lowesfoft.

Since July 2016 a 2nd set has operated with class 68 & 3 MK2 in older Anglia green. Following damage to one AGA class 170 Tubrostar which hit a tractor on a level crossing and AGA been short of DMU's. Again operating off Norwich to Gt Yarmouth & Lowesfoft.

Both sets are ideal for modellers as only 3 coaches top n tail between the 2 locomotives.

Just renamed this topic Modern East Anglian Scene. I've added another album to my flickr site. As today marks the end of the current Abellio Greater Anglia name with tomorrow it becomes just Greater Anglia. Over the last few years AGA has it fleet of 15 class 90's repainted into it AGA white colours, all 15 I have had haulage behind in this livery.

17th October 2016 marks the start of next era wonder how many re lettewr GA white I get for haulage before their replacement by 2020.

I know coaching stock has the doors in colours contrasting from the overall bodywork in order to assist partially sighted passengers... That the locos have similarly contrasting coloured doors does not instil confidence! Laughing
